Today's Imbolc on the pagan calender, and I stumbled across a cross-blog poetry meme.

One of my own, but I'm not sure civilians will understand the reference.

Military Girl
Ben's mother at the door.
Surprise!

He crosses the room to let her in.
I stand up, straighten my hair, and absently
rub the toe of my shoe against the
back of my nylons.
