Just about a year ago, Jason Haist and his cousin Edward, both of Toronto, were riding their Jet skis on the Niagara River that separates Ontario from New York State. Jason had a boo-boo and was knocked into the water, which promptly filled his lungs.He washed up on the U.S side of the river and promptly taken to the hospital, where he was placed on an IV and had a fun evening of having his lungs pumped.
Upon being discharged from the hospital, Mr. Haist was, you guessed it, arrested for entering the United States illegally and sent to a federal detention facility in the shithole you know as Buffalo.
Here's a fun fact. Canada has never threatened to invade, bomb or change the regime of the United States. Not a single time. That's something that the U.S can't say of North Korea or Iran. The threats of invasion, bombing or regime change are pretty much the only things that the United States has said of North Korea or Iran for several decades now.
Here's another fun fact. When you name a country as part of an "Axis of Evil" and your citizens start stupidly wandering across its border, bad things might just happen to them. Go figure.
Two of Al Gore's employees were, until this afternoon, being held in North Korea, and three other Americans are in Iranian custody ... for something the United States routinely arrests people for. Even if they're fucking drowning.
How is the U.S government responding? By sending a former president (one who threatened to bomb the country in question) to North Korea, and give away God knows what in money, promises and international prestige to rescue two broads who were popped ... for something the United States routinely arrests people for. On the other hand, these silly little incidents are keeping the Swiss and Swedes busy babysitting American retards who are bad at geography and current events, so I guess there is a bright side. Idle hands and all. Do you trust the Swiss and the Swedes when they've got nothing to do? I sure as hell don't.
