REVIEW: Bleach London Awkward Peach

I'm not really fond of bad reviews.

I held off on writing this one because I really hoped I had just applied this dye badly. But as it turns out, I didn't - the dye is just terrible.

Before anyone asks me if I did all the pre-bleaching and sorted out my hair length beforehand, I did just that. I booked myself in for a trim and bleached up my roots. So in theory, this should have worked beautifully. It did not.

I ended up with a patchy, uneven and a weird pink color. I know they say it's 'awkward peach' but does that mean pink!? Obviously the more damaged ends of my hair grabbed the colour more but I thought the newer bleached bits would have also taken more dye due to being more porous. Nope.

It also poured out of my hair and didn't last two weeks despite a big redye on the Saturday. In fact, one wash and most of it came out. I'm now blonde again with some weird pink streaks.
I have heard mixed reviews about Bleach London.

I have heard nothing good about their dyes or their bleach from people but I use their silver shampoos and find them really good. I think they are a bit too hit and miss for the price however. I won't be investing again sadly.

I find the brand very over hyped. I also invested in their white toner which didn't make much of a difference. I think I'm going to switch back to my usual brands of Stargazer and Directions. I can't be dealing with patchy hair. I was willing to give them a chance but sadly, I'm done.
In their defense - their hair mask is really good.
